About this event

Join CEDWC for the first event in our Race at Work Speaker Series, titled Uncovering the Hidden Bias in and Around Us. We are honored to be hosting Dr. Jennifer L. Eberhardt, Stanford University professor of psychology and MacArthur Fellow, in a virtual talk focused on understanding unconscious bias. As a social psychologist, and the author of the award-winning book Biased: Uncovering the Hidden Prejudice that Shapes What We See, Think, and Do, Dr. Eberhardt has devoted her career to addressing social problems that stem from bias. The goal of this event is for you to come away with an understanding of how bias operates in the workplace, your own unconscious biases, what if anything you can do to counter those biases, and the role you will have as worker and/or manager in a diverse workplace.
